WELCOME To the 10th European Ostracodologists' Meeting

Already 35 years have passed since the first European Ostracodologists’ Meeting (EOM) organised by Heinz Malz at Frankfurt am Main in 1989. EOMs have always gathered scientists from all over the world. In an era of virtual reality, in person meetings still provide us with a fundamental opportunity for collaborative research and fruitful discussion.

The 10th European Ostracodologists’ Meeting (EOM10) will take place from 16 to 20 September 2024 in Catania, Sicily. EOM10 is hosted by the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences of Catania University and organised by the Italian ostracodologists. We look forward to meeting you at EOM10 and wish you a pleasant and fruitful stay in Catania!
